Our Spring 2013 Season
will end on June 8th.
ABOUT US:
GCAA has offered volleyball to the Cleveland and surrounding communities since 2007. Each year since then we have grown in numbers and now have over 100 registered during both our fall and spring seasons. We currently have two age divisions, our younger division, ages 8-11, and our older division, ages 12-15.
During our fall season we break into teams and have practices and games. During our spring season we offer Skills and Drills Clinics, with clinics for both age groups. We have been excited to have visiting coaches from West Johnston High School, Cleveland High School, and Cleveland Middle come instruct our players. For our 2013 Spring/Summer Season we will also have several coaches from some Triangle area club volleyball teams come and instruct the players during our clinics.
OUR MISSION:
Our goal is to teach players the fundamentals of the game, to work on individual growth as a player, to teach teamwork and sportsmanship, and to have a great time! Many of our players have goals of playing at higher levels and it is our goal to prepare them for it to the best of our ability.
GAMES AND PRACTICES:
Practices for our Spring Season will begin with clinics on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the first four weeks of the season. The second four weeks of the season we will divide into teams and have practices and games.
Due to the number of players and teams we have, we will need to use everyday of the week for practices and games.
